However, addictions are called addictions for a reason. I LOVE Chairs. They can transform the chic and style quotient of a room in an instant.

Recently, I purchased this chair at, wait for it, Salvation Army.

Yes, I shop there. Consignment shops like that are the perfect places to find chairs just begging to be recovered with one of these beauties.

I'm not sure that I want to paint the chair, but I definitely want to keep the tufting. What I struggle with is whether to do a fun, flirty, modern fabric like some of these Schumacher Prints, or to do something more classic and timeless, like a charcoal grey or mocha linen. If I did that, I suppose I could get one of these Bengal Bazaar Pillows on Etsy via one of the great pillow shops, like Plum Cushion.

Before I sign off, I wanted to share this fab kitchen photo featuring the dazzling stylings of Miss Kelly Wearstler. I'm sure my design crush on Wearstler is no longer a secret by now and I just couldn't resist!

Design Decisions....My (ok, Our Bedroom)

After I moved into Brian's, my first project was to get our living room set up. It is almost completely done, except for a mirror that is going over the couch. (Pictures will be posted as soon as it's up!)

My next concern was Our Bedroom. There are so many elements that go into making the most relaxing boudoir possible.

Tonight we had "house project night", which seems like every night now and we put together our headboard and hung the chandelier.

The fabric for the headboard is tan linen with a white damask print, that I purchased at Glick Fabrics Warehouse this weekend in Houston! At $11.99/yd plus some other supplies, I saved tons of money by not purchasing a pre-made headboard. Plus, I got to have exactly what I wanted. And, let's face it, Brian pretty much did most of the heavy lifting.

The bedding is Pom Pom. I got it last year for my birthday and after lots of sleeping/washing it is the SOFTEST linen EVER.

I have to apologize for my MIA behavior in the blogosphere, and I hope all (10!) of my readers will forgive. Basically, My life as of the last three weeks has consisted of about 6 things.

1. First, I caught a bought of the stomach flu. Yuck. Let's just say I'm glad Brian still wants to date me after the World War III experience he witnessed in my bathroom.

2. Moving. Double-Yuck. I hate moving. However, I am now a delighted citizen of Fort Worth, and a co-habitator with a boy.

3. Christina's Bachelorette Party in Santa Rosa Beach, FL. SO much fun. Basically Champagne and Beach time for four days.

4. Bethanny Getting Married. I'm obsessed with this show. I REALLY hope it returns for another season. Bethanny, if you're out there, if Julie ever retires I will promptly move to NYC and be your assistant. I think we would get along like two peas in a fabulously decorated pod.

5. Went Wedding Dress Shopping with Kaitlin... and went to FABULOUS Warren Barron Bridal. OMG. This place is AMAZING. Feature on it to come later!

Design DECISIONS...... Wallpaper

Ok, So I want something to spice up the living area of Brian and my house. I HATE, HATE painted accent walls, so I want to do a wall of fun wallpaper instead. Don't ask me why a wallpaper accent wall is different, because I don't know. It JUST IS. When I saw an article in Lonny Magazine about the owner "mounting" her wallpaper with a combo of painter's tape and double-sided tape to make it more semi-permanent (perfect for my ever-changing tastes!) it made me get even more on board.

My first thought is trellis wallpaper. Even though I love chinoiserie wallpaper, I think it might be too much in such a small house. I love Kelly Wearstler's collection of Fabrics and Wallpaper for the F. Schumacher Company! Yes Please! Kelly Wearstler is pretty fab to begin with (Design Obsesh on her to come later) and as an aspiring business-woman, I totally look up to her.

I love these rooms with her Imperial Trellis Design.

This is a more cost-effective option from Ballard Designs.

This Citrine version of Kelly Wearstler's Imperial Trellis Design for F. Schumacher is my FAVE! I think this might be the winner for my "accent wall".

While I was "browsing" on the Schumacher website... I came across the wallpaper below. I think this would be PRECIOUS for a babies room. OK Readers, calm yourselves. I am not near ready for that. And, I know, for the record, how things work.

Once I do have a little babychild though, I would love a room with the Schumacher Balloons Wallpaper. I think it would go perfectly with the colors grey, mustard and navy. I would paint the walls a dove grey and do the ceiling and interior of built ins in the wallpaper. I would do a vintage crib painted navy. and do grey, cream, and navy bedding.

Design OBSESSION- Lee Kleinhelter

I was "leafing" through the new issue on Lonny Magazine today and fell upon this double spread on Atlanta designer Lee Kleinhelter. The two spreads of her work show a her condo at the Sovereign and one that she designed as a model. Ok, I know this sounds crazy, but I swear this woman is reading my mind. I wish I could meet her and bring her to my new house so she could help me! Mainly, that in the show condo, I am LOVING the color scheme.

Now, Those of you who have been to my apartment understand that I clearly have a slight fear of color in my decor. I have been a wallflower until now with VERY muted colors and a very monochromatic palette. Well, fear not friends, I'm going to branch out. Ok, I'm going to try. I'm really loving the "griege" look with a touch of hot color. Read: Orange, Yellow, or Lavender. Really, are there any better colors in nature? Pink Maybe?

I loved her use of orange touches with a chocolate color anchor. I feel that it could appeal to a variety of different people, whether their taste is classic, trendy, or modern.

Next, you see her own condo at the Sovereign, which is FABULOUS. She made a good point that she wanted to keep the bedroom neutral. I couldn't agree more. I think the bedroom needs to be a very calming place.

Ok, More reading my mind. I am LOVING vintage chairs, painted white and upholstered in navy. Such a FAB color combo, since most people would expect black. I need some for the dining table, which as I've mentioned is a distressed wood farmhouse table. I know I'll end up with vintage one's and would really like to end up with either chippendale chairs, something french, or something Hollywood Regency inspired. Her Louis XVI chairs and a simple navy fabric are perfect and simple.

I've never been to Atlanta, but I hope to meet Mrs. Kleinhelter someday! We clearly have similar design philosophies!
