Pure Genius from Ever Swoon

Have ya'll come across Ever Swoon yet?
Well, if you are working the "wedding circuit" like I am, you need to check it out.
And pass it on to a bride-friend or to yourself, if you're about the tie the knot.

Ever Swoon is a boutique Event/Wedding planning and styling company created/owned by Tamra Sanford.
I became familiar with Tamra before the birth of Ever Swoon, through her blog, Walks with Bella
She's a girl after my own heart, originally from Texas---pursuing her dreams in NYC.

And her taste is FABULOUS, to say the least.
She designed the wedding above. Totally gorgeous and totally swoon-worthy---- her company name is very fitting.

Tamra and her cute husband on their wedding day.

As cute as she could be!

Anyway, this little story does have a point.

Whenever I see engagement shoots like this, I think
I WANT THAT!!!

And then I remember that I want a VERY expensive wedding dress and probably couldn't afford to spring for another fabulous gown to take my engagement pics in.

Enter Tamra, who is still writing a fabulous blog, now on Ever Swoon's website.
I'm constantly perusing it, being the wedding addict that I am, and when I saw her post on an engagement shoot she styled a few weeks ago, I was floored.

And I thought, "This chick gets not one, but TWO fabulous outfit changes?!"

And then Tamra laid out some of her Fabulous-Stylisty wisdom.

These dresses are RENTED.

I felt like Carrie Bradshaw---Wondering how her new assistant could possibly afford a $2K bag without a job.

I don't know why that had NEVER occured to me before.

The cocktail dress above came from Rent the Runway, and the fabulous ballgown came from The Albright Fashion Library.

As you know from this post, I am seriously jonesing to do an engagement shoot a la Brangelina's in W Magazine---"Domestic Bliss"

In honor of Tamra's oh-so-fabulous idea and the my future engagement shoot,
I thought I'd put together a few engagement shoot outfits via Rent the Runway.
Sixties inspired and ultra-GLAM.

By the way----MAJOR Obsession with the wedding version of the dress above by Reem Acra

Olivia Wilde wore it to the Oscars.

Now, doesn't this Badgley Mischka dress off RTR look just peeeerfect for a New Year's reception dress?

Oh, not for me, for a friend....wink wink.

And if you need help planning a wedding, give Miss Tamra a ring!
